Just a question ,
Was the black, white lace related as to which ankle and wrist it was tied to the bodies? Just curious if they were tied to left and right sides? Or was it just random .?

ball, First, to simply answer your question, both Stevie and Christopher were tied on the left side with white laces and on the right side with black laces. Michael was tied with black laces on both sides. However, Michael's ligatures appeared to be one lace cut in half because each ligature had an aiglet on only one end while the ligatures of the other boys had aiglets on both ends. Reading this thread was interesting though I would point out that Dr perretti noted all three had blood matted hair showing that the did bleed from their head injuries.Also in his testimony Dr perretti said there would have been profuse bleeding.

could it be possible that the perp surprised the boys down in the manhole playing "dirty games" just boys experimenting, just a part of growing up...maybe the boys had already removed clothing....a narrow minded moron could be "enraged" enough to do something horrible....

One has to be mindful of what to believe and what not to take for granted, regarding what Peretti opines... True, but "blood matted hair" does point to them not being tossed into the ditch shortly after the head injuries, doesn't it? If they were out of the water long enough for the blood to have matted and stayed matted while submerged, then I'd think they have had to have been out of the water for quite a while AFTER the head injuries. But none of the searchers in the woods heard or saw anything. (See manhole theory). |

It's possible.....but when you look at the overall situation and time frame, it appears that the boys were in a definite hurry and they were attacked very shortly after they entered the woods. I don't think they went to the woods to play (or skinny-dip, etc). IMO...they were running away from something or somebody, and were returning to a specific location where they had left their supplies. |

Imo, only ONE person would have any reason to make sure of that, but in retrospect it would seem a pretty damn dumb thing to do. "Running away? No he wasn't running away, we were a very happy family." As opposed to, "Look, he was 8 years old and he tried to run away because 8 year olds get all kinds of crazy ideas in their heads, and a terrible "accident" happened."

Funny you mention that. I read in a very old forum that very suggestion, but it was from someone who claims to be a friend of the family's. Not sure which family. This person who said that, believes that TH did it. And that TH went nuts when he saw what was going on.
