He can't even decipher the truth. I too would be unable to take what he says seriously without some sort of proof.
But, if he were to start talking oh, say, today....
Even though you couldn't take it as truth without proof, his words could at least maybe give someone a place to start or maybe something new to look at.
Maybe. Really hard to say, as he had his mind completely messed with as a child during what must have been an extremely confusing and frightening time for him. He was spewing complete bullshit and had adults hanging on his every word with his mother's approval. He sort of was the 4th victim, like he said. But he was able to kick Damien, Jason, and Jessie and get away, right? However, he forgot everything immediately, told no one, and forgot that Jessie was even there by a night or so later when Jessie stayed over at his house because his mother was a afraid to be alone because of the murders.
I don't know what he's doing today, but as a child he was damaged by having adult authority figures indulge and even encourage him in his fantasies.
Even if he did know some of the truth back then, they pretty much erased it from his mind by leading him like they did Jessie. By now he probably doesn't know himself what was real and what he made up to please the adults. Jessie knows what he made up to please the "adults", but I'm sure he still doesn't fully understand why he did it, as many people don't, except that he was pressured into it. Like I said, I know there was A tree house in the woods when I was a few years older than Aaron, but I couldn't find it to this day if I looked, and the woods it was in are still there, unlike the woods around, and the discovery ditch, and even the ditch itself, wich are all gone now.
Seems to me that the defense already knows what they are looking for, and some of that could've come from Aaron as far as I know, but for damn sure he didn't build it, so someone else did. And if they are asking for more than one board to be tested, Aaron's story never did match that, which makes it seem a bit like he had seen a tree stand somewhere, possibly, but maybe not in the BB woods. I don't know.
