Around the 44 to 45th min either it was burke or grove who says that none of the custodial parents were ivestigated!!!!!!!!!!!WHAT????? Mark was investigated inside and out. The WMPD first tried to pin it on him,,,when they saw they couldn't they got DJandJ fever. Let no one mention for many of those years that they ran the JMB did it board...
OK,,,,I've calmed down. I hope that this also helps spread awareness of the injustice to so many.

Three innocent children were murdered, three innocent young men/kids were convected.
We all know that and get that. We can not bring the children back. We are all trying to do what ever we can no matter how big or small to help the innocent men....What gets me is that, maybe I am too close to the whole thing, is that after we came out with what we found out and Mark is taking every oppurtunity he can to help....it is totally forgotten the Hell many put him thru....I kid you not it is not that often that we go anywhere that someone does not reconize him...we have been asked to leave resteraunts just because it made someone uncomfortable him being there......it has not been easy for me or him. Those people act like Mark never existed, yet they were tickled to death when Mark came to their board and said that the WM3 were innocent and their board's hit skyrocketed. Now he is a "perefial" supporter.......His son was murdered!

But he did that for a fistful of gold from an attorney in Jonesboro, remember Jacki? Me and Mark are actually still "nons" in sheep's clothing trying to pull the wool over the eyes of "real" supporters. Ask any "non", they'll tell you.  As for the radio show, there were no startling revelations. Just the same old rhetoric we've been hearing for years (like the doozy SGS posted above). |

Just to share: Just to clarify this.
I listened to the entire program and heard Lisa state that Hobbs was not being investigated any further, but, it's unclear if she meant by the defense or by the WMPD/State. I was hoping to hear the interview again to see if I missed who Lisa was referring to.
Wolf Me: Question posed was "has there been especially recently any other potential suspects that have been sort of brought into the arena that maybe we have not heard or we didn't have a lot of evidence on before?"
I believe Lisa said "I'm gunna say that there was evidence found at the crime scene that does not belong to the west memphis 3 i'm not gunna call anybody a suspect but one of the step fathers named Terry Hobbs a hair from him and a hair from his friend was found at the crime scene i mean direct proximity to it it's certainly not the west memphis 3 is he considered a suspect or is anybody investigating him not to my knowledge or our knowledge i believe ." I guess "anybody" would include both sides?
Wolf Me: I don't know and cannot speak for Lisa, but she did say not to her/our knowledge. So it could be happening but they don't know about it, or, it is not happening. I don't read too much into what was said and time always tells. |

I wanted to respond to your post sooner, but honestly, I needed to find the right words. I haven't been around that long, but I feel your pain and anguish every time I look at anything to do with this tragic case. I honestly don't know how I would have gotten thru any of this. Thankfully, you are both a strong force in making this terrible wrong put right. People do know that.
Some people, even in knowing that, will never quite fully understand the constant struggle this has been for both of you, to constantly be reminded of this every single day because of the work and effort you put into finding justice for all. Some people will always be in a state of denial that nobody could have done this, but the West Memphis 3, and there will always be some ignorant people, that no matter what you do, will always be suspicious of others.
What people don't fully understand sometimes, is what it is like to not have any closure. There hasn't ever been a moment of peace since May 5, 1993. My hope and my prayers are that there will be some closure for both and that the ignorant words of others will cease and your lives together will have peace.

I, too, was looking for the right words. Imagine that one LOL. But, Effigy has outdone me with hers. I agree one hundred percent with what she has had to say here. Mark was singled out and there is no doubt about it. Most of it, actually, because he is vulnerable even though people say differently. I see him differently from them. I see a man who is much like my own brother. He is a friend to everyone... and when he gives his heart and trust, he does it all the way.
I learned something as a writer. I started out getting my heart broken by Letters to the Editor. There were plenty on my side but then we got one threatening my children and we got another from a group I won't mention who outright didn't like me. Not liking me is more important to me than liking me, I guess. So. What I am going to say to Mark is what I learned. You have to see in life those who are your "fan club". Then you do what you do in life to honor and please them... if that is what it takes to please yourself and that is what your goal in life is... to make a difference and make someone smile. There will be those, no matter how long you live, who won't like anything you do or so. And, they will try to haunt you. Like being at a restaurant when you are there and causing a scene that they will put off on you. Make a disposal place in your mind and put them there. I almost gave up on writing because of a group who didn't like me. Mark just needs to accept that there are always going to be crazy people in life. Live past them.
You, Jacki, are the saving grace in Mark's life. You have made something wonderful out of a big ole piece of clay. I have been amazed and honored to see what a wonderful person Mark has become. They say that Lorrie gushes with love. Well. Let me say this. Mark glows. He really does. And, it makes him pretty to look at, listen to, and to appreciate for, not only who he is now, but the man he is making of himself. He is at peace with God, himself, and life... and much of that is because of you, young lady.

I didn't know you were kicked out of restaurants. That is discrimination and it makes me sick. At some point I hope to be able to come down to visit you guys and if someone tries to kick us out of a restaurant I'll tell them to kiss my ass. I don't think Mark should be paraded around for becoming a Supporter like some kind of circus sideshow for other people's benefit. I think he needs to be respected first and foremost as the father of a murdered child. He should also be respected for keeping his word. He told me back when we were Nons that if he ever found out that the WM3 were innocent he would be the first in line to apologize and the first in line to work his ass off to get them out of jail. In hindsight this may have been during the period after he decided they were innocent but before he came out publically as a Supporter. Either way he gave me his word and he kept it. I think that Supporters should look at what he is doing and ask themselves if they are doing as much to actually make a difference. If they aren't then they have no business judging him or minimizing what he has done to right the wrong. We can all talk about this case until we are blue in the face but that doesn't change anything. He has actually done tanglible things to make a difference. I am willing to admit he has done way more then I ever have. I respect him for taking the stand to such a high degree. I am going to address that White Elephant in the proverbial room. I know Rugs was being sarcastic but I just had to say my piece about it. To be brutally honest it really wouldn't bother me at all if Mark really was taking Supporters for a ride. After all the years of hell he got put through he has every right to give it back. That being said I have no reason whatsoever to doubt him when he says he supports the WM3. Unlike statements Terry Hobbs has made, via Jant, everything Mark told me would eventually come to light has come to light in official documentation in Court proceedings. Every time I have talked to him he has always been on the level and extremely open about his mistakes. Not to judge Jacki and Mark's living conditions, but from the videos I've seen it is no $1,000,000+ Mansion. It is a normal home like all the rest of us average people have. I saw his car from the video with Dave and it is no Ferarri. If Mark is pretending to be a Supporter to make a profit, as the Nons claim, he is failing miserably at it. All I can see is a man out to right a wrong because he knows what it is like to be falsely accused and harassed. I have asked Nons to provide proof to back up their assertions and haven't seen a thing. Nuff said! |

Hey yawl, Thank you for your understanding....I do keep thing in perspective....there are so many that have devoted so much of themselves emotionaly, time and money. I have to be grateful for the WM3.org...they are raising awareness and support, however, their board does not compare to the work Skytone, Rugs and so many of you have put into keeping this board up to date and factual and not full of sillyness. I chose to be with Mark knowing that my life would never be private again. I simply get frustrated when people do not take responsibity or aknowledge for their ations or inactions. Thank yawl for letting me vent, my dogs appriciate it.  jacki |
