Even this says they failed to find evidence that lead investigators to believe that the victims had been murdered where their bodies were found!

It sure does. Prosecutor John Fogleman reiterated that in 1996: "He [Fogleman] admits that the crime scene was "spotless," but cites a witness who placed Damien Echols and his girlfriend near the scene on the evening of the crime, and an inadmissible test that hinted at the presence of blood on a river bank at the scene, a possible refutation of the defense contention that the boys were murdered elsewhere and dumped at the scene. Still, when asked about the lack of physical evidence against the defendants, Fogleman readily concedes: "There was a remarkable lack of physical evidence against anybody."

Why does it say "Moore was castrated" on this form? Did I miss something?

Kent Hale originally misidentified Chris Byers and Michael Moore, which was extremely unfortunate.

Or maybe that they were placed there after dying somewhere else--just carried within the woods from one place to another. Either way, the blood evidence does suggest another scene where the crime took place. I concur wholeheartedly with the manhole theory. If they were still alive (possibly not conscious) when water encompassed them, it may or may not have taken place in that ditch. But the water samples compared with the stomach samples would have told that story. I'll look through the other threads, but I'm thinking testing never occurred and it cannot be done now. The samples were either never taken or they've disappeared. But I may be wrong on that one . . .

Didn't the "mason jar of water"...um...er...disappear? Or it was simply listed as never tested and no one knows why?
