"Are you the real killer?" INSIDE EDITION's Diane McInerney asked Terry Hobbs.

"I can't believe you would ask me something like that," he responded.

The innocent answer would be "No".

But according to Mark McClish of   http://www.statementanalysis.com/  guilty people will dance around the truth and avoid a direct answer. Nobody wants to lie if they can help it.

Why would Hobbs not be able to believe the reporter would ask him something like that?  What did he think she was going to ask?

Of course he knew the question was coming.  Anything other than a direct denial is contrived.

Q:  So is it your testimony Mr. Jacoby was with you all night until he went to work; is that your testimony?

Terry Hobbs:  Well, he was with Pam -- there was a time he was with Pam, and there was a -- or we might have all been together, yeah, I wouldn’t doubt it.

Hobbs' answer indicates that he thought about what he was going to say beforehand.  He's used that same answer before.

His intent was to deflect his guilt back onto the reporter..... as if to say "You should be ashamed of yourself for even asking".

Innocent people are not so arrogant.

Just wanted to say that I'm excited about tonight! Also, we should give Johnny Depp some major props for putting himself out there.

I am thinking they are using music that was written, produced and granted to use by someone actually from over on the non board. I think it is Dog.
I don't understand what they are so adamant about the show not airing. Maybe they didn't like the song 48 picked out.

FOR ALL SUPPORTER'S THAT DON"T BELIEVE HOBBS IS THE PERP.....

   Explain this one:

WMPD interview (2007)... (keep in mind that Hobbs was well aware that Pam had just taken Hobbs' knife collection, including Stevie's knife and turned it over to Dan Stidham for testing.  Pam was accusing Hobbs of being the killer due to his possession of Stevie's knife):

Officer:.... Do you remember, uhh do you remember Stevie ever having a knife at all?

" 7 seconds later he says"

Terry Hobbs: I don't know if he got one at the boyscouts or not. He did go to boyscouts, but I don't think they gave him a pocket knife. But his real daddy may have given him one. Cause his grandaddy was real proud of him, he really liked that little boy. It's possible, I can't say yes or no to that. Not honestly.

Officer: Would, so if he, he had one you wouldn't have known what it would have looked like or

Terry Hobbs: Well If I seen it I might recognize it but I can't place one at the moment.

 48 Hours interview (2010)

What troubles Pam is that years after the murders, she found Stevie’s small pocketknife with Terry's belongings. Hobbs says he took it from Stevie long before the crime.

"As a parent, you don’t want an 8-year-old to carry a pocketknife around," Hobbs tells Moriarty.

"Right, but Pam says he did carry it around."

"'Til I took it away from him."

"When exactly did you take it away from him?"

"I don’t know exactly when, but I did."

Hobbs was shown a picture of Stevie's knife in the WMPD interview.  He knew exactly why the question was asked and tried to deny knowing anything about it.  Now he knows for a fact that he took it away from Stevie before the murders?

He says he doesn't know exactly when he took it......I think I can help him out.  At least to within about 8 hours.

Get a clue, folks.  He's guilty as sin.

This statement is about the other father, Steve Sr. and what he had to say. I am a praying woman who believes that what I write are words given to me by God. Many people are like me. When those of the movie world are given awards, you often here them say first, "Thank God or thank the Lord" and they are not meaning those words to be fly by night. They really mean that their gifts have come from God that led them to where they were. So. When I write my next paragraphs, I am serious.
There has been a statement by Stevie's Aunt Judy that I would also like to address. She will come first. Judy Sadler mentioned that people have made money off these deaths and that it should stand to reason that they, too, would be paid. Yes. To go on certain television and other media broadcasts, folks do get paid. In this case, it is a good thing for some of these parents. Life for them is sometimes filled with many hours of dedication to this cause and they must have money to eat and to live in this world that is not free. But, is it on the backs of their children? Many parents here in the Chicago area get paid for speaking engagements to speak about their children who have been killed due to gang or drug violence. And, one of my favorite books was about a little girl who died. It was called, ANGEL UNAWARE. Dale Evans probably got paid a hefty sum for it over the years. She was the wife of Roy Rogers. Do you think she needed the money or that she took money on the back of her child, no.

Next. Leading into Steve Sr.
Throughout the centuries many ministers of the gospels have spoken about "Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me?". I shall write on that later. My point for now is that, most of those ministers have made their whole life a career talking about that Father's Son. And, most of them have had to eat and have shelter to survive. We could talk about today's televangelists who have made their millions and how we like them or how we don't. Many gospel music singers have also pulled in millions for singing about their Savior. Truth is, many people besides them have made money talking about that Father's Son. But, did they do it on the back of Jesus? You can have your opinion on that one. Many churches call what they pay their Pastor a Love Offering. I want you to know that they don't believe that Jesus ever died. I want you to know that Jesus did not think in the way that Steve Sr. said it that God ever forsook him. I don't think Jesus would have approved of Steve Sr. even going public and saying such a thing as that.
Where were the little boys and why was 48 about Damien? And, why didn't Depp speak more. The show wasn't about Depp and he is a man of discretion. 48 was about passing information to the public to generate support for a new trial. It presented a man full face who is sitting on death row and let him speak honestly and from his heart. It let us learn about Lorrie and see her gushing smile. She has yet to sleep in her marriage bed. it was to put the information out  in how it was and how it is. Straight up.

"You know that David Jacoby says that you left and you went off by yourself," Moriarty tells Hobbs.

"Well, I went off with David. David left with me," he says.

"He is then lying when he says that?"

"David didn’t say that."

   Ummmm.....Yeah, he did, Terry:

I wonder why Hobbs is so reluctant to call Jacoby a liar.  He doesn't mind calling Ms Moyer and Ballard liars.

Maybe he doesn't want to piss Jacoby off?

So, where was anything in all that to honor the little boys? Don't you, any of you, worry about those little boys. Remember that poem about footprints and how the question was asked to the Lord, where were You? What did the Lord say: where you see one set of footprints, it was where I carried you. Well. Over these years, some of this case topic is going to be about Hobbs, perps, case information, expert testimony, the state, the defense, the boys in jail, the parents, etc. BUT in all of it the three little boys have not been forgotten nor is their honor tainted in any way in finding the truth to all of this. Don't you worry about the babies. In all of this, there stands the mothers (all of them... for many of the women are mothers, too). And, there stands the Daddys and not just the immediate parents for many of those in this case are fathers, too. I'll tell you where those babies are and where they will ever be. Don't you worry about the babies. They are wrapped in the arms of mothers' prayers. They are wrapped in the arms of fathers who did not sign off their rights when their sons were too little to defend themselves because nobody wanted to support them. These are fathers who did not betray those little boys. Where were these fathers when their children needed them? There comes a time in life when it is too little too late and now God has stood up and is in control. He never left the sight of those little boys one time... not even when they were in harms way. Many sons have stood in harms way and many of them have had hparents who never asked one question like that of God nor did they feel forsaken. God is with Pam. God is with JMB.  And, God is with Steve Sr., too. He just has to ask. That is what I encourage him to do.

After viewing the depositions, I was asking myself that same question. Why is everyone else a liar, except Jacoby. He did it again with 48 hours interview. He is apparently very afraid to upset Jacoby.

To go with what I wrote, just in case someone asks me what do I know. This is a story from my genealogy history about my Uncle Daniel Boone. There was a terrible event happened one night in the woods while he and a party of other men were out scouting the land that our country now knows as the state of Kentucky. Many men and boys have stood in harm's way for our country and not always in a declared war. One night in the woods, Indians captured my cousin Israel. During the night, Daniel Boone was awake all the night and so were the men of his party. For, they had to hear the screams of agony from Israel as he was put on a torture stake and slowly, the Indians stripped the skin off his body. Daniel Boone didn't sit in Afghanistan or Viet Nam or Germany. He was right here in America, before it was America. Matter of fact, it would not have been America right as fast as it was had it not been for men like Daniel Boone. But. He knew the agony of losing a son. He didn't do one thing to stop it, either. Or there might not have been a country that we know today. Some things happen along the way in our lives... the good and bad come to each of us. But, these fathers standing up and saying things that are not true ought themselves to be ashamed when they are putting that out on someone else. They gave up the rights to speak when they signed their sons away and did not support them their whole lives. Like JMB said to another father who tried that same thing.

Erin Moriarty:   "If you were really worried and Stevie had never been out that late, you didn't call Pam and say, 'Look, your son still isn't home?'"

 Terry Hobbs:    "Pam was working."

No offense to Pam, but it's not like she was a neurosurgeon.  She was waiting tables less than 500 yards from where Hobbs was searching!

TH said in his deposition that he was really worried about Stevie at 5:00 p.m.  That did not sound right to me, but he insisted it was so.  Turns out, on days when Pam did not work Stevie was to be home by the time the street lights came on.  Seems like this was the rule for other kids, including Michael.  Pam said she thought Stevie lost track of time and she wasn't really that worried when she went to work.  So which is it TH.  Were you really worried about Stevie at 5:00 and searching the neighborhood for him, or were you chilling out at Jacoby's playing guitars?

When it got dark, that is a different story.  That's when the worry flag gets hoisted to its highest level.  There should have been a call to Pam, if only to see if Stevie came to her workplace or called her since there was no phone at home.  Jeez TH, help us out here.  Why should anyone believe you?
