LOL BratButt! First fancily-schmancily, now...psychological loons!! I never anticipated such an expansion of my vocabulary!! You are too funny! What does that mean btw? Yes, I believe he is one of those two as well...IMHO. According to John Douglas yes he would pass it. But yes against a good trial lawyer like oh let's say Clarence Darrow or even Johnny Cochran he wouldn't stand a chance! Let's not forget Lt. Daniel Kaffee....or...Atticus Finch.

Eh, just meant psychological folks who either think psychologically or work on that plain regularly, hehehe. Oh, and go Atticus! He raised little Scout good, too. She reminds me of me when I was small!

Absolutely!!!!!!!!! Atticus Finch = Ownage (in MMORPG terms, lol) I feel Terry's representation is a little pretentious. Maybe I am wrong and is just from what I have been exposed to, but either they do not prepare him approprately or he is playin' dumb (by his own volition or by instruction). His counsel's constant objections and elaborations after being "reprimanded" for it got so exhausting. Terry looked like a lost puppy at times, a stone cold monster at others, and then he had the Jack Nicholson's Joker grin and slimy smirk on others. Simple man, my ass... No Emmy for him.

Where is Amanda Hobbs now? What has she had to say about the murders..her Dad? The answers may be on this message board..I'm new and haven't had time to go all through it.
Amanda is living with Terry at the present time. She stands by her father, supports his claim for innocence, and states that she believes the WM3 were responsible for the crime. I hope that helps.

I don't know the truth of it, this info was posted in one of the newspaper forums on the net: Amanda is living with Terry in a motel. She, apparently, has had some drug or alcohol problems in the past. Her mother, Pam, has custody of the two children... so that is likely the reason she can't live with them. Plus, apparently Pam is having some difficulty trying to keep up with all it takes to raise the children and do what she needs to do with the case involving Stevie and make a living with no help.

I really feel for Pam! After all she has been through and now when she should be trying to calm down and enjoy what is left of her life she has to take on this responsibility. God Bless her.

Oops. Mine didn't go through. What I was saying is this: I am betting that TH is relishing in the idea of Amanda being living in the motel room with him. I am sure he is correct in that a lot of questions will be raised that, if he molested or sexually/physically abused her, why is she with him. A lot of the women on here can explain this better than I will be able to. Sexual and physical abuse work differently than a lay person would expect. I have personally known a woman whose husband shot her in the stomach and head and she went back to him and took the children with her. I have seen the woman whose husband put a gun to the baby's head and sold everything they had for drugs go back to him with the children and have to come right back to be protected from him. I have known about the case in our county where a man killed 3 generations of his family because he never got over the daughter with whom he had two children when she got married and left the home. In life, children grow up and come to a time that they need to fall back on their parents. It won't matter whether the parent was or still is good or bad to them. They will go right back into the snake pit. Many helping organizations don't offer as much help as they provide more problems... plus there is a stigma to needing help. Amanda, in this case, can't move into the home where the state has placed her children after she has lost custody of them. It is just a sad thing because these family problems are moving into the next genertions. And, I yield the floor to this needed discussion to the others on here who can professionally explain what I am trying to get across.

Thanks, Lislis 78 & Polly! Do you all know if the State Appeals have been exhausted yet? For the life of me, I cannot understand how the State (Judge Burnett) looking at new DNA evidence (pointing AWAY from the WM3 and pointing TOWARDS someone else) is not solid enough ground for a new trial (?!?) Politics? Yeah, I guess so! But this new DNA evidence (and the conclusion on post mortem animal bites) seems so IN YOUR FACE! Like my Dad used to say "It's got me buffaloed!"

Polly, It's called co-dependency and it is because their abuser has convinced them that they cannot live without them also their self -esteem is very low.

Yes, Justice, that's it in a nutshell...especially the low self-esteem...The "nobody else will have me" syndrome. It IS very sad.

He can remember putting bug spray on to go into the woods but can't remember if or when he called the police on the night his son was missing? Odd

Officer: Ok, what, what happens and you, you still have Amanda with you?
Terry Hobbs: Correct
Officer: Ok, what happens then?
Terry Hobbs: I, I believe I drive around a little bit more looking for them and then go back to David and Bobby's house and I drop Amanda off there and I asked David, I said will you go help me, you know, try to find these boys. He said, come on lets go, cuz he knew Stevie up in Blytheville, he knew Pam's first husband, and he knew Pam most of her life or all of her life. And so working with him, he seems like a pretty good guy, he looks like a ZZ Top, he had long hair, long beard *chuckle* and so, and he went with me, we drove around. He was with me probably 2-3 o-clock in the morning, may the 6th.Officer: When did you see Pam again?
Terry: When I picked her up from work.
Officer: Can you remember about what time that was?
Terry Hobbs: It was right at 9 o-clock.
Officer: Ok, and when you went to pick her up who all was with you?Terry Hobbs: Amanda
Officer: Just Amanda, k
Terry Hobbs: Ok, I had picked her up, yea cuz I had her with me so I picked Pam up.
