Sorry guys didnt do that right but here were 2 more times that TH altered his response mid-sentence.I feel he's meaning to mention his visit to DJ's but decides not to.Who knows why- but this is about the time that DJ stated TH n amanda come over and they play guitars. Also when DJ states he sees the boys ride past his house.

"uh" "umm" "DERRR"
The police continue to be incompetent in AR.
What's the officer so nervous about? Maybe he knew this interview could blow the lid of something and prove the original officers on the case had no clue what they were doing.

That was an excellent way to manipulate Amanda in case her story went awry of TH. He could always say, no remember, that was when we took the walk. Remember the red bird we saw or when you fell on the sidewalk... then she would have to agree that she was wrong and Daddy was right.

Thanks Justice. First thing when I woke up the other morning is thinking I didn't get what I wanted. I had wanted a new trial for the guys. It will come, though.

Terry Hobbs: Probably 30 minutes and I went Uhhh, maybe an hour I don't know about the time exactly but after we went back to see if we could find them in the neighbourhood, me and Amanda. I took Amanda to, well we both went home

Maybe he was going to say, I took Amanda to David and Bobbys house. But he had already told the cops that after dropping off pam they decided he would go look for them so he couldnt tell them that he went to Jacobys and played guitars for an hour.

Terry Hobbs: I, I believe I drive around a little bit more looking for them and then go back to David and Bobby's house and I drop Amanda off there

OOps, this is what happens when you lie. You cant go back somewhere you havent been yet.

Well....Thank God that Terry Hobbs saw that photo of Damien Echols sitting on Hobbs' couch.

Damien should be covered by the "secondary transfer theory" just like Terry.   greetings

I never quite understood why Terry Hobbs made that statement. So glad I read your post. It makes perfect sense.
Before I read this, I didn't really make the connection. Thanks!

And, if they execute an innocent man, Mr. Echols will walk into heaven a hero and with a clean slate. Whatever wrong in life he ever did will have already been punished. There will be no other burdens on his life. I will be glad for one thing, at least he will get to meet the three little boys and none of them will ever have to worry again for eternity.

Damien Echols will be going home sometime within the next few years or so.  There will be no execution with him invovled.  I do realize that this is not something I can call a fact, but I believe this with every fiber of my being and I just feel that it is just not right to consider the worst becoming reality.  As far as christian beleifs go, there are many verses in the bible that allude to man having the power of God and the power of the spoken word.  So, I just think if it is even remotely possible to effect actions with words alone, I'll take the safe road.   yes

Of course I'm not saying anyone else is doing anything wrong if they don't agree.  Just wanted to say those words.  "Damien will be going home."

To clarify the part of the transcription that has TH saying "Well, not the Dole Team" is actually "Well, not double team."  ( in reference to the discipline/spanking of the children.)

Pally, Yes, he is saying that he was the dominant person who disciplined the children. Pam affirms that by saying he actually beat those two little ones about everyday. He is at least admitting to violence in himself toward children.
Actually. When the powers that be who are running for office say that no other children have been killed, we don't know that for sure. The next thing, the offending child in TH's life was removed and he was more than happy to move on with life with or without Pam. Next, he sees himself as the victim who did no wrong... Pam did wrong, Stevie did wrong, Mrs. French did wrong... all but TH and he was a victim. Natalie Maines did wrong like Mrs. French did in not minding her own business.
To me, I see a clear pattern of abuse against children: first the child from the first TH marrige, then the child from Pam's first marriage, the child by Pam and TH... and now we see the grandchildren not in the custody of the mother in the next generation. All of this violence ended in the death of one of those children. Luckily, a part of them are now grown and can fight back. I would be very concerned for the safety of any other children left alone at any time with TH or any relationship he might have that might include children in the future. I wouldn't even want him living next door to children at all. I would worry about his manipulation skills with his own children that, historically speaking of such children as adults, might carry over to allowing the abuse to continue by TH to those grands. Never, never, never should he be allowed around them.

Yes just for the abuse alone! I see a pattern here.

Sorry I am behind everyone on alot of this.  Where is Amanda Hobbs now? What has she had to say about the murders..her Dad?   The answers may be on this message board..I'm new and haven't had time to go all through it.     Mistreating children (or animals) is so alien to me.  Sure, I understand (intellectually) what can cause people to do it, but I still have a hard time wrapping my brain around it.  I have a stepson who is now the same age as the boys that were murdered.  I've never laid a hand on him! I've certainly disciplined him (timeouts, taking things away for awhile, etc.) but ALWAYS explaining to him what he did wrong and why he is being punished. His Mom has spanked him (I'm not against spanking) but in 4 years, I can count on half of one hand how many times.  We're pretty consistent in our other disciplinary action that we rarely have to go there!  Seems from what I've been reading, "Whuppins"/Abuse were the FIRST resort for TH. Mmmm, the plot thickens. But as I've stated, I'm not ready to "Convict" him yet.  Just because I don't approve of someones lifestyle (like alot of folks didn't approve of Damien's lifestyle at the time of the murders) is not reason enough for me to feel someone committed murder. SUSPECT?  YES! DEFINITELY!  Then, it's all about evidence! Which, of course, they were SORELY lacking on The WM3.  I know there IS  evidence pointing towards TH.  MAN OH MAN!  THAT needs to be explored.. This investigation SOOO needs to be reopened!  If I was writing a screenplay, I couldn't come up with a story as wild as this REALITY is!   I wonder why TH won't submit to a polygraph? If he has nothing to hide (except not being a candidate for "BEST FAMILY MAN")  then that would most certainly go a long way in vindicating him...of these murders at least.
