The boy who accused him later recanted and said Jackson never touched him.
I didn't know that, thanks for letting me know. I had already decided that I didn't think the cases against him were anything but blackmail after reading some documentary style books on the subject. Maybe he is guilty but I don't see any evidence to convince me that he is although the media reporting at the time had me convinced he was guilty.

Alert! ! ! UK tonight and most of Europe too ? ? ?
Finally 'True Crime with Aphrodite Jones West Memphis Three Case' is being aired TONIGHT at 23:00 and repeated 03:00am on the Crime Channel.
Better late than never and it will be interesting to see what, if anything, they tack on to the end of the programme!

Please remember that I am a foreigner and, as such, can easily be missunderstood, it seems, by those for whom Oxford English is not their mother tongue. Non existant 'smug hypocrisy' and 'pomposity' are perceived by a few American English speakers. A language which, whilst similar and closely related, is not quite the same! Might allowances be made rather than umbrage taken?

Q: So is it your testimony Mr. Jacoby was with you all night until he went to work; is that your testimony?
Terry Hobbs: Well, he was with Pam -- there was a time he was with Pam, and there was a -- or we might have all been together, yeah, I wouldn’t doubt it. ******************************************************** Terry Hobbs: They were going to go look and see if they was in that manhole

I don't think there's anything left to tack on. You've already added an extra "m" and an "e". No Paid! I am English and that is how we spell that word. The Americanised reduction is how we spell computer programs. You guys tend to simplify the spelling of common words like:- centre, theatre, tyre, colour etc.. I guess it makes for simpler spelling bees! Back on topic, there was no up-date posted at either the start or end of the programme nor was there a voice over. I guess the channel is just 'pretending' to be a documentary and factual one! Driver came over as one smug and nasty piece of work even more on a big screen! But at least the 'show' has aired here now! (England, part of the United Kingdom, one large island and a cluster of others which have isolated the continental shelf of what is now known as Europe to our eastern side!)

The Americanised reduction is how we spell computer programs. You guys tend to simplify the spelling of common words... It's "Americanized"....but anyway, by shortening words like "programme"...I've been able to save enough ink and pencils over my lifetime to save three octopi and two large trees. ....just something for you Brits to think about.

Johan, I'm sorry, but only clips are available right now. Maybe someone knows where the full episode is, but all I can find are two clips. The clips are called "Arresting the West Memphis Three" and "They Never Came Home" and can be viewed here: http://video.tvguide.com/Shows/True+Crime+With+Aphrodite+JonesMaybe someone else has a link to the full episode. If not, watch the ID channel (Investigation Discovery). Maybe they'll replay it.
