Free us all from lies,,,,then the men known as the WM3, the parents of three children and families, the public can finally have a piece of peace. That is when there will be something resembling justice. With positive thoughts comes positive actions. Positive actions lead to more positive people and the chain reaction leads to positive change.

Firstly, a very big 'thank you' to JMB; Jacki & Stu for making all this so easily available.
Edited to add:- have now found correct thread for this topic and also found 'answers' too!! So will follow up, as necessary, there.
Now my sanity is in a quandary. I have no memory whatsoever of TH ever saying anything about the police coming to the house to check if Stevie was at home. Neither do I remember PH referencing a visit from the police. Whilst I can understand maybe PH having a confused memory of that half hour time frame and accommodating the 'version' she could live with the most easily etcetera.....TH does seem to have rewritten a great deal of very critical 'history'.
Much as I am not at all 'fond' of Meeks, her deposition has a certain ring of truth thus far.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
Even if one just extracts the intent of Gitchell's deposition, then there is enough here to warrant serious re-investigation. I can feel the draught from the f5 for real now!! What unmitigated hell for you two to have to have lived through with bated breath for so long. Your evident frustration is making so much more sense now that this is all coming out.

Please remember that I am a foreigner and, as such, can easily be missunderstood, it seems, by those for whom Oxford English is not their mother tongue. Non existant 'smug hypocrisy' and 'pomposity' are perceived by a few American English speakers. A language which, whilst similar and closely related, is not quite the same! Might allowances be made rather than umbrage taken?

The following jumped out at me:
Q And if Terry Hobbs told the West Memphis police that he searched in Robinhood Hills with you for the boys, would that be a true or false statement?
A False.

I wonder if any of the testimony from Gitchell and Meeks can be placed into evidence in the WM3 case?

Considering the oath is the oath and these are public records I would say yes. Considering it is a sworn statement this is better than if he went on T.V. and said it.
I do have someone that I know would know but I won't see him again until Monday.

Hey Big T... it is quite confusing to read wha is claimed isn't it?
I'll try and put a spin on what this Officer Meeks is allegegin in here...
Pam came out, her own words and it is indeed common knowledge, with 2 pieces of candy for the kids - one for Amanda and one for Stevie. She didn't know Stevie wasn't in the car....
Pam got picked up from work when her shift was done and over.
IF the Officer Moore was to have gone to her work and spoken to Pam before her shift finished and before Terry got there to collect her from work, why'd whe come out with 2 pieces of candy if she already knew Stevie was stil missing, and why would she have remained at work (i'm certain she would have stopped working and have left immediately)? It really doesn't make any sence what Officer Meeks is claiming, in fact, even the Police Logs show it was Terry Hobbs who put the call in that this Officer Moore responded to.
Wonder if Officer Meeks may have got her butt slapped for not taking Michael's as well as Christophers missing persons report whilst she had attended Marks place? I mean, c'mon now Dana was already there and there seemed no reason to not take it, only to have to find Dana later that night and do it - right? And frankly, oughtn't she have gone over to the Hobbs home herself being that Dana is supposed to have informed her that Terry was allegedly been looking for Stevie from 4.30pm?
Unless of course she had already made the assumption it was no big deal they were missing, having Dana told of seeing them all together heading off towards those woods....she's assumed they'd simply run away together so....possibly the same mind set as when she ventured over to Bojangles but went thru the drive through instead of getting out and investigating further?

This is how Officer Moore remembered the night in 1994
Fogleman: State your name and occupation for the jury.
Moore: John Moore, patrolman, city of West Memphis.
Fogleman: Patrolman Moore, I want to direct your attention to May the 5th, 1993. Uh - sometime uh - after 8:00, were you on duty that night?
Moore: Yes sir.
Fogleman: Alright, and did you uh - participate in any way in the search for uh - uh - Michael Moore, Stevie Branch, and Chris Byers?
Moore: Yes sir.
Fogleman: Alright. And what part did you play in that search?
Moore: Uh - at first, I was called to take a complaint on a missing child.
Fogleman: And where did you go to take that complaint?
Moore: Uh - Catfish Island on 7th street.
Fogleman: Is that - was that from uh - Pam Hobbs?

This is from Moore's testimony at the Misskelley trial:
Q - Patrolman Moore, I wanna direct your attention to May the 5th, 1993. Um, were you on duty that night?
A - Yes sir.
Q - And approximately uh, 9:25 or so did you uh, respond to Catfish Island?
A - Yes sir.
Q - Alright, and what did you find when you got there?
A - I met there with Mrs. Hobbs and her husband and I believe she had a child with her. She stated that one of her, or that her son, Steve Branch was missing.
Q - Okay, and did you make, start an incident report about that?
A - Yes, an incident report.
