Here's some Dimension interview page number's where Terry states these things.

page 37

Terry says he heard splashes and thought it could be animals.

page 38

Terry says the ditch water was deep & moving.

page 42

Terry says he went down the trail leading to ditch where the children were found & by page

page 45

Terry says he was so scared he couldn't walk

page 49

Terry states he made 2 or three trips to RRH after midnight

page 50

Pam states that police wanted to come to their home and Terry says "No.....we'll go to the station"

So Hobbs didn't want police to come to his home & of course he began moving out of the home within days of the murders.

thx maya, but which exhibit is it?

anyway:

Exhibit 29, pdf-page 136:

terry said he began writing the journal on may 6th, so its funny when you compare it to his words in Exhibit 1 "nineties, early nineties".

also:

terry sold 300-400 pages to a hollywood writer...."we are going to write a pretty good story about this"

ok as being familiar with movies: where's the story, terry? where's the suspense, the surprise, the VILLAIN-all the stuff that will make a good script? you just can't mean your being the stepfather and just a searcher like so many others because thats plain dull..... come on, terry......

Terry  Where was we at?

Pam  We was sitting at the restaurant eating, and, urn, it was the talk of the

Interviewer  Which restaurant?
[Crosstalk].

Pam  And, urn, the police officer said, "Well, I think they just found three
*boys.*  Was that your son they found?" And I said, "Uh?" And he said,
"Yeah, I think they just found three boys. But I don't know; I'm not
sure." So, me and Terry went out, and we go to the school. And
somebody from the school -- and I don't even know who it is -- that
runs all the [unintelligible] they found three boy.
 [Crosstalk]

Interviewer >>>> *They-they're not saying if they're alive or dead?*  They just said

   That IS odd, mayan.

People recall events the way they occurred at the time.  Pam would never say "they told us they found three bodies..." because no one ever said that.

"Boys" and "bodies" aren't interchangeable in her mind.  They are two completely different things. "Boys" didn't become "bodies" until later.....

.....maybe to Terry they are the same thing because nothing changed in his mind.

Q:  So is it your testimony Mr. Jacoby was with you all night until he went to work; is that your testimony?

Terry Hobbs:  Well, he was with Pam -- there was a time he was with Pam, and there was a -- or we might have all been together, yeah, I wouldn’t doubt it.

Exactly Paid........just like the time Terry referred to Ryan Byers as "The One That Was Alive" while relating to Det. Mitchell Chris's older brother who according to Terry told him of the *covered hole* that Terry never mentions checking the hole, never spoke of a covered hole before his 1st police interview in 2007 and finally the ONLY person in this whole case that ever brought up that the children could be in there.

This is the second time Hobbs has referred to the children as being dead before anyone else did or even thought them to be so to speak.

It may be worth bearing in mind that the transcripts of the Dimension Films 'interviews' were not under oath.
Nonetheless, the use of language, as exhibited by TH, is still of interest.  As is his take on events as he describes to the film company - he was, afterall, chasing the money here.

Non existant 'smug hypocrisy' and 'pomposity' are perceived by a few American English speakers.  A language which, whilst similar and closely related, is not quite the same!
Might allowances be made rather than umbrage taken?

Terry says he was so scared he couldn't walk

Plays right into the original case scenario as developed by Arkansas, no?  Almost as if he's saying GOD told him not to go there?

OMG, I've watched this, but reading it...  YOU had so many vehicles you didn't know which ones you had in 93, on what should've been the most memorable day of your life, BUT, you HAD to take Pam to work, even though she did and could drive???? (Control freak) Were all these cars you tinkered with tagged???  Or does Arkansas not require that?

You can remember everything that is documented fact, like, yes Pam worked that night, but nothing off the record at all?????

AND you even add "facts" 14 years later - Black Bum?????  But still can't remember the most basic details of the day?

Ummm...

Hobbs: On our waY to take Pam to work well after I got home if vou you'll remember Pam told me to' find out whereSteve at she said he wa5 riding his bicycle with Michael Moorre.
So on my way to take her to work we went by the moor's house to see if Steve was there
or if, Mike was there: Dawn was there and she told us that you know they are riding there
bicycle's so you know me and Pam decided to take Pam to work and uh I go back and I
had my door key
, we go back and (not audible) and when we left Cattish Island uh we
went back by the moor's house and just staried going street to street in the neighborhood
to see if we could find him.

This almost seems to suggest that Pam was not allowed a "door key".  Other than that, WTH does it have to do with anything that the man had a key to his own house?

And that emphasis on "Me and Pam decided to take Pam to work".  I just don't like it.  HE decided to take Pam to work.  Hence, my strong feelings of "staging", and that this was pre-planned.

I took Amanda ta well we both went home and I said come mon we'll go walk
around the neighborhood and.see if we can hear em behind them fences in somebody's
yard cause I didn't know here George lived that's one of his little friends. But we was
gone see if we get hear em playing behind them fences, privacy.fence so we did that for a
while and didn't see nothing.

If my kid was missing, I'd go look behind that fuckin fence.  I think this part is true, he was looking for Stevie, but not out of concern for Stevie.  So many things he can't remember, but again, he remembers some things very well, because they are true.
