I am done for now.  I feel kinda unclean after reading all that I have.  I shall tackle the Part B tomorrow - if I have the strength.

There is something sad about someone with such little intelligence digging a great big hole for himself.  His total conviction that the convictions are sound; that any appeals system should be thrown out the day after conviction; that he has the right to litigate when he has not even read all the data; blah blah blah. . . .  It is like the world owes him a living and he is the only one to have suffered at all from all that has gone down.

What does scare me is the feeling I get, very distinctly, that there is a great deal of suppressed anger and repressed rage - almost like a volcano about to blow.  Irrational.

I do not think it is sad at all .i do not think Terry Hobbs deserves any sympathy for his lack of brain cells. This is the very emotion that he plays in people to get his way.Narcissists or sociopaths ,however you lable them feed off normal peoples feelings.Yhey will try and gain sypathy but underneath they have no feelings. This volcano has blown many times. It seems to me it has blown when ever the real Terry Hobbs has been exposed.Well maybe the explosion you sense Miranda is because the real Terry Hobbs is again being exposed.JMO>I feel he deserves no sympathy.

I felt despair. Though it seems to me now there's two kinds of it: the sort that causes a person to surrender and then the sort I had which made me take risks and make plans.

Q:  So is it your testimony Mr. Jacoby was with you all night until he went to work; is that your testimony?

Terry Hobbs:  Well, he was with Pam -- there was a time he was with Pam, and there was a -- or we might have all been together, yeah, I wouldn’t doubt it.

Paid?...Didn't we have a few posts about where Dee might sit that wasn't just in "Members Only"?? I know it was somewhere else besides the Game show thread.

I need a ticket then one way Tank.I value everyones opinions too.the feelings are reciprocal.I am getting a little obsessed with MR Hobbs and like i have said before i have met this kind of animal in my life.People need to overide their normal feelings of sympathy when dealing with someone like him.Or as we say in Australia "Harden the f*ck up.

Miranda
[/quote] impairment of judgement (=impairment of the proper functioning of the mechanism of risk assessment) appears in both acute anger and in many personality disorders. The illusion of omnipotence (power) and invulnerability, the partiality of judgement - are typical of both states. Acute anger (rage attacks in personality disorders) is always incommensurate with the magnitude of the source of the emotion and is fuelled by extraneous experiences. An acutely angry person usually reacts to an ACCUMULATION, an amalgamation of aversive experiences, all enhancing each other in vicious feedback loops, many of them not directly related to the cause of the specific anger episode. The angry person may be reacting to stress, agitation, disturbance, drugs, violence or aggression witnessed by him, to social or to national conflict, to elation and even to sexual excitation. The same is true of the Personality Disordered. His inner world is fraught with unpleasant, ego-dystonic, discomfiting, unsettling, worrisome experiences. His external environment - influenced and molded by his distorted personality - is also transformed into a source of aversive, repulsive, or plainly unpleasant experiences. The personality Disordered explodes in rage - because he implodes AND reacts to outside stimuli, simultaneously. Because he is prone to magical thinking and, therefore, regards himself as immune, omnipotent, omniscient and protected from the consequences of his own acts - the Personality Disordered often acts in a self destructive and self defeating manner. The similarities are so numerous and so striking that it seems safe to say that the Personality Disordered is in a constant state of acute anger.

I just read (all night last night and into this morning subsisting on Pop Tarts, prefab bacon and Coca-Cola) the transcript of Hobbs deposition in this case.  Did anyone notice his statement on P. 238, talking about his hair or Jacoby's, "I don't think it was found at the crime scene.  It might have been found in the woods.  I don't think it was at the crime scene like you're saying."  Am I reading too much into this, or is he admitting that the crime scene was not in the woods?  I've tried to read all of the posts on this thread before I responded, and I know that I'm late to the discussion.  However, am I way off base?  IMO TH implicated himself over and over and over in that deposition.  The example I quoted was just one that I didn't see mentioned.  BTW, did I miss something or did this case eventually get thrown out of court?
