I, too, went to their site following links. I was amazed at the language they use and the attacks on what could have been intelligent conversation and debate. I also decided that the part of their title "Hoax" means that they aren't a viable site for the WM3 either in honoring the children nor the young men in jail right now. They are there for a joke.
Right? Hoax certainly implies it's a joke board ... and every NON on there is definitely a joke. They are there just to argue. Not to mention they act like middle schoolers with their name calling. They're so angry for no reason. I mean, it's the blanking internet, people are going to butt heads. It's easy to insult someone when you never see their face. No one is allowed to have an opinion outside of theirs ... otherwise you get called a "dumb bitch" or something similar. They talk about supporters being trolls going there and starting shit ... all we do is bring up another view of the case. They're the trolls just for having a board ... I mean, as soon as we bring up something that isn't part of their narrow-minded beliefs, they attack us continuosly and unecessarily. And their insults lack creativity, as hard as they try. They go out of their way to try to think of something good, but it usually falls flat. They're pretty redundant with them as well. Why are there so many posts that are JUST insults? There is no substance there. Anyway, back to the topic at hand ... that's quite disappointing that they are only slotted for one hour. I was looking forward to a 2 hr special in order to do both sides justice. I think a main way to get people involved is to show them that this isn't all one-sided. They'd be more inclined to look into it further, I think, knowing that there are totally opposite ends of the spectrum and not everyone believes that the 3 weren't shown proper justice. |

I was thinking that it could still be two hours because here, it will be airing an hour earlier. I will have to wait and see but I hope it is going to be the full two.
I really like this site because we can disagree with our theories, but we are still free to say what we think without being personally attacked. And, we can learn from what the other person has to say instead of passing it off as a bunch of crap name-calling. The folks here seem to be genuine in wanting to find the truth... not only to find out what really happened, but I think the boys in jail want to also know the truth instead of just staying in jail or to be let out on some technicality. I think they want to be set free because they are proved innocent. Too, I am impressed that the folks here seem to be intelligent and to have researched the material that they discuss. They have formed intelligent ideas and state their views quite well. To me, that is what it is all about. All the rest is just a waste of time. At least, when it is over with, we can all respect each other.

Polly I am really confused by the 1/2 hour thing as well. Perhaps, like the date, there was trouble working this all out with the network. ? I hope so very much that the 1 hour statement is wrong. You would think they would be willing to dedicate the time for a current issue like this. They should see the benefit of broadcasting an episode dealing with a fairly hot topic that will also be, once again, documented in film for HBO. Most of the episodes I have read about on the website deal with cases that have already been solved (just what I have seen). Those of you that pray ... I hope you're all having some long talks with God right now!  |

The word I got was that they had asked for two hours, but were only given one for whatever reason. I wasn't given any details, nor did I ask. Disappointing, yes - because there is ample material for a two hour show - but, at the same time, I'm just glad that this case is getting the national exposure that it deserves.

When I got to this big ole town 10 years ago, the first thing I did was locate the channel that had Jeopardy on it... which was ABC. We have a tremedous lot of satellite channels but I am going to take it to task to figure out which one is CBS. I intend to have everyone I know watch this show and tell me what they think.

Tonight I watched the preview for next Sat. the 27th, It was good. They had Lori's voice, some of Damien, and Johny Depp. I hope it does get the exposure that the case deserves. Are the Olympics going to be over by then? Hope so.

This is a bit off key from where we're at now in discussion, but I thought it was relevant enough. Many of you know that rugs formed a WM3Blackboard group on Facebook. He, as well as Justice and KimmyB have been doingn wonderful work to spread the word about this show. Both rugs and Justice created "events" so we could invite people to watch and they could in turn do the same with all there friends. Well, I would say I use Myspace and Facebook somewhat equally and I know most don't. So, I have created an event for the same on Myspace. I set this as public. So, for anyone that has a myspace account, please, visit the event and I would love if you put yourself down as attending. Also, feel free to send me a friend request. I really believe we accomplish much more when we all work together on this. Also, the big reason I am hoping to get some people from here to sign up is that I left it open to invite guests. This is where the pyramid affect comes in. I'm sure you all know how that works as most everyone on here tends to make my brain hurt with their smarts at some point.  Alright, I'll expect to be seeing some attendees and requests pretty soon. Get to hoppin'.  |

I have a facebook account but I don't know how to get in on the sites like Rugs has for the boys. How do I find it? I have over 1,000 friends on my list from all over the world. And, I also have much media on there. I have posted a few times about "Free the West Memphis 3". One of my college co-news folks was one of the first to do the West Memphis interviews.
